Reviewing 2015 & Anticipating 2016

i-61 Ministries is praising God for all that occurred in 2015!  We are humbled by how He has multiplied our two loaves and five fish and how He uses us daily to move people toward compassion and justice worldwide.

Looking Back:

  • We trained 92 people at the i-61 Isaiah House in Nicaragua.
  • The Isaiah House also hosted visitors from the UK and Australia Vineyards, had their first intern, provided meeting space for various gatherings of the local Vineyard church, and hosted a training seminar for 51 Nicaraguan Vineyard pastors and leaders.Poor Health & Disease Training Intensive
  • Our missions staff team in Nicaragua grew to 7 adults! Samuel and Sarah Burns left the Isaiah House to come on staff at Vineyard Boise, as Emerald Douthit  joined the team, along with John and Sharon Novitski.
  • Love Justice and Mission Medics schools ended and began new schools, continuing another season of great classroom and hands-on training.
  • The Mission Medics built the first phase of a medical clinic in a remote Nicaraguan village (San Onofre).
  • i-61 hosted the first i-Care Summit on the Local / Global Food Crisis in Boise, ID, with nationally renowned speakers.2015 i care summit
  • Pastor Tri Robinson retired as Missions Pastor of Vineyard Boise and i-61 Ministries Director and Terra Montford assumed his role.
  • i-61 Ministries hosted break-out sessions at the VineyardNational Conference (Columbus OH) and Vineyard Missions USA Conference (Colorado Springs, CO) and connected with every missions USA partnership.
  • The Vineyard Boise Christian Fellowship raised about $30,000 dollars for one of our i-61 Network Partner ministries.
  • The i-61 Network grew in quality of relationship and numbers of more than 20 ministries.

Looking Ahead:

  • Vineyard UK Missions has asked i-61 Ministries to become the expression of justice and compassion for Vineyard UK and Ireland.
  • Terra Montford will be speaking at the Vineyard National UK conference in England in January 2016.The Isaiah House
  • i-61 Ministries will be putting together an international advisory board for future growth.
  • Plans for multiplying the Isaiah House (i-61 Training Base) in other nations will progress.
  • We will host our second i-Care Summit on the Environment  in Boise, ID (October 28-29, 2016)
  • Rebecca and Shelton Taguma will move on to graduate school, leaving their position as Directors of the Isaiah House, and Karen Wardwell will assume their role.

We anticipate God to do His thing… transforming lives, bringing good news to the poor, binding up the brokenhearted, and setting the captives free! (Isaiah 61:1-3)
